How we won and what's next...
We were told Trump couldn’t win over any college students, female voters, Latino voters, or Black voters. He improved his numbers with all! Why? How? At the end of the day, it was the economy stupid!

Good morning, Happy Warriors! 👋
Common sense has re-entered the room! Yes, I’m back, and I’ve got a lot to say!
Today is Wednesday, November 20, 2024. It’s been 15 days since the 2024 election!
Here’s a Bible verse to get you through this week:
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; His love endures forever.” - Psalm 118:1
Here’s this week’s edition of “What’s Up, America? 🇺🇸” as I head off to school this morning:
How we won and what's next...
God is so good.
That was my thought the moment victory became official in the early morning hours of November 6th, and that’s been what I’ve repeated in my head every moment for the past few weeks. He’s so, so good.
Trump has been impeached, beat, raided, indicted, arrested, and shot. He won, and he’s the 47th President packing his bags to move back to the White House! We just witnessed the greatest comeback in political history! It’s Morning in America again!
Now, it’s been a week since the landslide. Let’s have an honest conversation about what worked well, how we won, and what we can improve on going in to 2026 and 2028!
We were told Trump couldn’t win over any college students, female voters, Latino voters, or Black voters. He improved his numbers with all! Why?
The media said voters were most concerned with abortion, Trump’s “racism”, and “threats to democracy”. At the end of the day, “it was the economy stupid”.
Every poll going into Election Day was different, but the one question that always had the same result? 75% of Americans were frustrated with their current state of living…in *every single poll*! That’s why I felt so confident going into Election Night. That’s why we won so big…and won the popular vote! 75% were fed up, and they showed up to the polls!
That’s why Republicans won a trifecta majority. At the end of the day, it wasn’t abortion rights, it wasn’t January 6th, it wasn’t Kamala’s joy, it was the price of eggs that got people out to vote! We had a plan and laid it out in detail. The other side ran a campaign of celebrity endorsements, TikTok trends, and vibes with no policies. She couldn’t list policies, sit down for interviews, or hold a single press conference.
This was bigger than just a fluke or anomaly. It was a mandate! This was a rejection of the establishment and elites by everyday, working-class Americans who felt ignored. The people finally had enough! Regardless of if they love Trump’s personality, majority of Americans united behind his policies, and youth voters led the charge!
When I first pitched youth outreach in January 2023, I said our party was an endangered species at risk of extinction if we didn’t involved Gen Z. Luckily, we reached out! I spent 2 years speaking on college campuses, crafting the RNC Creator Program, and encouraging Trump and the campaign to embrace modern forms of media like TikTok and podcasts. Thankfully he/they did and it paid off.
Trump won youth voters by 17 more points than he did in 2020! *17!* This outreach can’t stop now! We must spend the next 2-4 years welcoming these new, first-time voters in to our party to create generational change so this isn’t a one-time occurrence!
Not enough attention was paid to our historic early voting numbers that shattered all previous records, not only for Republicans but in election history in general! The GOP and Trump campaign’s joint effort to get votes banked before Election Day to shift resources to targeted voters helped us get swing state supporters, who previously had sat out of previous elections, out to vote and pushed us over the finish line! Those YUGE early vote numbers overwhelmed Harris’ day-of votes and that’s why it was an early call!
So what can we improve on? Increasing early voting pushes for all future elections, ramping up youth voter outreach, and keeping our policies humble to genuinely help everyday Americans (not becoming out of touch or “elite-like” similar to the modern DNC).
The work starts now. It’s not over! We won. Now we must actually do the work to rebuild and fix America. Then we must win in ‘26 and ‘28. So take a quick nap, catch up with friends, enjoy time with family this season, and be ready to continue the fight to make America great again, because there’s a lot of work left to be done!
*) What’s new?
For the first time since January of 2023, I’m not on the campaign trail, in the middle of a book tour, or hosting campus speeches - but I have been busy on TV…
I joined Newsmax to react to universities canceling classes after Trump’s win:
I joined ABC News after the election to react to why Gen Z voted for Trump:
I joined Fox News on the day Trump won to explain how it happened:
I joined Fox Business minutes after Trump’s victory speech to celebrate and react:
