Good morning, Happy Warriors! 👋
Common sense has re-entered the room!
Today is Wednesday, September 11, 2024. We are 55 days away from the 2024 election.
Take a deep breath - God is still in control!
Here’s a Bible verse to get you through this week:
“Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand” - Isaiah 41:10
Here’s this week’s special edition of “What’s Up, America? 🇺🇸” reacting to last night’s final debate of the 2024 election from the Newsmax greenroom in New York City:

The bar was set high for Trump and low for Harris.
He’s done this 7 times before. He exceeded expectations yet again and delivered a disciplined strategy to return America to its glory days so that my peers and I can grow up in a free and fair America. Harris on the other hand’s only requirement for this debate was to outdo her predecessor by staying awake the whole debate and she barely did that. She wasn’t able to defend any of her radical record or lay out any concise plan to fix the nation her and Biden have broken!
I’m born and raised in Tuscaloosa, AL so college football is the culture I grew up in. Last night, Trump kept Harris on defense the whole night, and an offensive Trump is the best Trump.
We heard for the last week how Trump would spend the night lobbing personal attacks yet in reality it was Kamala Harris who claims to be the candidate of joy spewing hate and personal attacks the whole night.
We heard a lot last night about what she’ll do on day 1 in office, yet she’s on day 1,329 in the White House and has broken our nation that Trump now has to fix. The strongest moment of the whole debate was Trump’s closing statement: "Why hasn't she done it?"
No surprise, it was a 1 v 3 debate as the moderators only pressed Trump, only fact checked Trump, and spent 90 minutes bringing up old topics instead of pressing Harris on her plan for the future (because the doesn’t have one). The moderators spent more time discussing January 6th than the high gas prices and grocery costs directly affecting the American people every single day.
Out of the 90 minutes, I want to highlight two moments that I thought were Trump’s strongest. First, his strong stance on immigration. He came prepared with the facts and numbers on border crossings since he left office and called out the Border Czar to her face. The second topic was international conflicts, while they were on the subject of Ukraine and Israel, and Trump very clearly reminded the audience at home that there were no international conflicts under his administration thanks to his peace through strength agenda.
On the other hand, out of the while 90 minutes of blunders, two specific rough moments for Harris stuck out to me: Afghanistan and her flip flops. When pressed on the fallen 13, she pivoted and said she was proud of Biden’s withdrawal and that the stood by his side, admitting on the world stage that their blood is on her hands. The second was when the moderators surprisingly pressed her on her flip flops and I guess she wasn’t prepared for that because she had no excuse or reason to share why her stances are polar opposites than her 2020 run!
Post-debate, JD Vance said, "Trumps is proud of his record. Harris is running from her's." That should tell you everything you need to know! It's good for Trump when people bring up his record and bad for Harris when people bring up her's!
I think the choice before my generation can be broken down to this: we’re tired of chaos. We were in middle school when Covid hit and ever since then the world has been turned upside down. Kamala Harris is the candidate of continued chaos, Trump is the candidate of stability because that’s what he brought us in his first four years.
To win the White House in 55 days, Trump has to win three groups: Nikki Haley voters, independents, and disenfranchised Democrats. Last night he scored with all three by painting Harris as a radical and calling on her to answer for her four years of disastrous policies. In no surprise to anyone, she had no explanation and continued to flip flop more than Joe Biden on the beach.
